About Michele

Before joining Scalable Growth, I spent more than six years at American Addiction Centers, first as an engineering lead for the corporate website and later in product management. That experience taught me to look beyond the website itself and understand the full admissions funnel, from a person’s first digital interaction through lead capture, insurance verification, CRM systems, and ultimately patient admission. It shaped how I approach digital experiences today, with every touchpoint playing a role in connecting someone with care.

Today, I bring that experience into everything I build. I focus on understanding how people use a website, where they might get stuck, and how we can create a better experience that makes it easier to take the next step toward care.

Purpose & Impact

Through my years working in behavioral healthcare marketing, I’ve learned that sometimes someone is just one phone call away from something life-changing. The people visiting our partners’ websites may be at one of the lowest points in their lives, looking for answers and trying to figure out what to do next. Other times, it’s a parent, spouse, or loved one trying to find help for someone they care about.

That perspective is always in the back of my mind when I’m building or improving an experience. My goal is to lead with compassion and never lose sight of the fact that behind every visit, form submission, or lead is a real person looking for help.

Trusted Partnerships

One of the things I value most about working at Scalable Growth is knowing we’re intentional about who we partner with. We work with organizations that genuinely put people first, which makes it easy to feel good about the work we’re doing and the growth we’re helping create.

Career Highlights

One of my favorite career memories was helping build a true instant insurance verification experience during my time at American Addiction Centers. At the time, many websites were promoting “instant verification” that was really just a form submission. We wanted to take it further.

Using API integrations, we were able to give people immediate reassurance about their insurance status while simultaneously connecting the information to our CMS, alerting admissions teams, and routing leads based on insurance provider and coverage.

What started with fewer than five leads a day grew to more than 50 self-service verifications per day through a strategic insurance content strategy and continuous improvements to the experience. Even better, Derek, Scalable Growth’s CEO, was part of that team too!

Outside of Work

I live in Washington State with my two dogs, who are pretty much always by my side. I’m an avid reader, always looking for my next five-star book, and will happily take any recommendations. I love trying new recipes, spending time with friends and family, and rooting for Seattle sports teams!
